A Bit of Branson History

Dave's Tractor has been selling Branson tractors since late 2002. These tractors are built by Kukje Machinery in South Korea alongside combine harvesters and other equipment under the Kukje brand. It is a subsidiary of Dongkuk Steel, one of the largest steel companies in South Korea!

Kukje was founded in 1968 as Korea Agricultural Machinery Co., and changed its name in 1978 to Kukje Machinery Co.  In 1980, Kukje signed a technological agreement with Yanmar of Japan.  In addition, Kukje has manufactured/distributed some John Deere tractors since 1987.

In 1995, Kukje established its diesel engine manufacturing plant, and in 2002 established an agreement with Cummins to build and supply engines for them.  So the rumors are true, Branson tractors have an A series Cummins Diesel as their power plant!!

In 2016, TYM Tractors, a leader in tractor manufacturing purchase Branson Tractors. Branson Tractor continued to operate under the Branson name until 2023 when all Branson model became TYM labeled tractors.

Currently, TYM headquarters is in Rome, Georgia with two other distribution warehouses in the US supporting 300 dealers in North American and another 200+ globally. They are producing dependable and consistent tractors from 22 to 100+ HP. We have been impressed by the durability and build of the Branson tractors, and we are proud to offer these for sale to our community.
