The grading scraper is the tool of choice for grading a gravel or dirt road. The blades on this implement cut off high spots and fill in the low spots, leaving a nicely groomed road or driveway. The shallow, angled blades are not designed to carry a lot of material like a box scraper, thus it tends to require less horsepower to pull. And the angled blades tend to gently draw material toward one side, helping to maintain the crown of your road. The beauty of a grader or float over a standard blade or box scraper is that you just set it down and drive. You don't have to manipulate the 3-pt controls as much as if you were trying to finish grade with a normal scraper. These have adjustable ripper shanks and adjustable/reversible cutting edges.
